In the logistics industry, the lead up to Christmas is one of the busiest times of the year. Everyone wants their products on shelves in time for the mad Christmas rush and shopping season. From toys, clothing and presents, to outdoor supplies as the weather is heating up, almost all industries are impacted by the increase in demand for their goods.
Consequently, freight becomes ever more important, as this can be the make or break to getting your products on the shelves. Everyone is in the same boat, resulting in freight companies having significantly increased demand.
As a result, we encourage all of our customers to lock in as much of their freight early to avoid disappointment and last minute problems. The most common question we receive at this time of year is “what is the latest we can ship to xxx”. Below, we have listed the latest cut off express times for freight to many of the major Australian towns. As Friday 23rd December will be a short day, with many receivers closing early, we recommend goods to arrive at the receiver by Thursday 22nd December.
To safely arrive by Thursday 22nd December:

|Melbourne||Sydney||Tuesday 20 December|
|Melbourne||Brisbane||Monday 19 December|
